MONTICELLO, AR — Cari Morris of Ore City, Tex., will present her senior thesis art exhibition at the University of Arkansas at Monticello Mach 14-30. The exhibition will be on display in the Glassblock Gallery of the Taylor Library and Technology Center. Gallery hours are 9 to10 a.m. and 12 noon to 2 p.m, on Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Fridays.
An artist's reception will be held March 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Morris's exhibition, entitled "Precision and Spontaneity in Nature," shows her interest in the balance between precise line work and spontaneous color application. Her work is based on childhood experiences in rural Texas.
