Payton Ashcraft was recognized on the University of Arkansas at Monticello Fall 2018 Chancellor’s List for achieving a 4.0 grade point average. Payton was also inducted into the Sigma Zeta - Beta Pi Chapter last semester. Sigma Zeta is a National Science and Mathematics Honor Society. Payton also received awards for The Ed Bacon Outstanding Freshman in Biology 2018 and The Walter Godwin Outstanding Freshman in Chemistry 2018. Payton is a Sophomore at UAM with future plans to attend the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She is the daughter of Jerry and Kelly Ashcraft of Warren.
