MONTICELLO, AR — The University of Arkansas at Monticello will host the Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series featuring Best-Selling author, Liz Murray. The lecture will be held in the UAM Fine Arts Center Auditorium February 5, 2019, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a book signing in the Spencer Gallery.
Liz Murray is an Inspirational Speaker, Best-Selling Author, and the subject of Lifetime Television’s Emmy-nominated original film, Homeless to Harvard. Murray completed her degree at Harvard in 2009 and her memoir, Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival, and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard (2010), was an instant success making the New York Times’ best-seller list the first week of release.
