HEDGERS PRESENT PROGRAM TO BLOCK BUILDERS QUILT CLUB

At the October meeting of the Bradley Block Builders Quilt Club, Mrs.Bobbie Hedger and her daughter, Lois Hedger, showed a collection of quilts made by several generations of their family as well as some the two of them have recently made. Relatively new to the world of quilting, Mrs.Hedger stated she waited until she was eighty-five years old to start quilting because she thought it was too hard.  She has always been involved in creative projects, having owned a florist and a ceramics studio, but was intimidated by the thought of quilting.  Quilt club members were inspired by the many quilts these two new quilters displayed.
The Bradley Block Builders Quilt Club is a project club of the Bradley County Cooperative Extension Service and serves the community by providing quilts and monetary donations to deserving groups and individuals.
For more information or to become a member of this or other extension clubs, contact a club member or the local extension service.
