Health Fair Has Huge Turnout

Saturday morning, April 21st was a day full of activities on Main Street from the intersection of Main ( U. S. 63B ) and Pine Street to the rail road tracks just south of the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County.   The YMCA was host to the 2018 Bradley County Health Fair.  Activities were ongoing both inside the Y and outside.  Other meetings and activities were taking place in the Bradley County Veterans Museum just across the street.  There were large crowds, young and older and every age in between.

The Fair consisted of tables and booths set up by vendors and agencies and a number of professionals present to check blood pressure, blood sugar and vision screenings by the Warren Lions Club.  Law enforcement was on hand to teach safety and fire personnel to advocate for fire prevention.  Smokey the Bear and the Arkansas Forestry Commission was present to teach "how to prevent forest fires.  Life Shares was on site accepting blood donations.  There were games, face painting and a cake walk.

Many volunteers assisted and a good time was enjoyed by all.  More information will be forthcoming concerning the list of vendors and attendance.
