Mother Jimmie Butler Celebrates 89 Years

Family and friends of Mother Jimmie Butler, gathered in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church Saturday afternoon, January 6th to celebrate Mrs. Butler's 89th birthday.  She actually turned 89 on the 5th. 

There were songs sung, best wishes spoken, and performances honoring Mrs. Butler.  A very delicious meal was also served and a lot of fellowship enjoyed. 

Mother Butler and her late husband, Deacon Howard Butler, served as mainstays of the Warren Community for many years.  They worked for many years for the First United Methodist Church and served through their Church, The Power House Church of God in Christ.   They have a large and successful family with deep roots in Warren.
