A 40-hour Master Gardener training program is being offered by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service this summer for southeast Arkansas. The training will be held from 8 AM to 4 PM for 5 days in each of the following weeks: June 15, June 22, June 29, July 13 and July 20. A $75 registration fee will cover supplies and training manual. Exception to this fee is if there is a couple that would only need one set of educational material, then both can attend for $100. A minimum of 20 new trainees are required to conduct the training. If the number is not met, training will be rescheduled at a later date. Deadline for registration is Monday, May 22, 2017.
